...Foster Children's Resource Center.

Foster Children's Resource Center, in cooperation with the County of Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services, provides support for San Fernando Valley foster families by offering:

new clothes for children up to age 18 including sweats, underclothing, pants, shirts, jeans, school uniforms, jackets, toys and books; and basic necessities for infants such as crib sheets, blankets, bath towels and clothing.

In addition to foster children, service is extended to children in the following programs: Family Preservation (where the parents are being rehabilitated in order to care for their children); and Relative Care (in which the child is placed with a responsible relative).

The Location

The Foster Children's Resource Center is located at 19441-110 Business Center Drive, Northridge, CA 91324. The telephone number is (818) 701-0506.

The Hours

The Center is open three days per week: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10 a.m. until noon. Special hours may be arranged by a children's Social Worker in an emergency situation.
